Ahoy! It's the 2024 Sailing Season!
And welcome aboard! Whether you are an experienced sailor or a newbie looking to learn, the Wanderlusters Sailing Club (WSC) gives you the benefits of boat ownership without the cost and hassle. WSC was organized to promote the advancement of the sport of sailing through education, recreation, and adventure at the most affordable cost. We own two vessels in Annapolis, MD - a Catalina 270 and Hunter 306. This year WSC celebrates our 56th anniversary!
2024 Annual Membership Meeting - The 2024 Annual Membership Meeting will be held on March 16th at 11:30am. The location of the meeting is at the Mariner's Point Club House 301 Georgetown Road, Annapolis, MD 21403.
NEW: 2024 New Member Meet & Greet will be on February 24th for people interested in becoming members of the club this is great opportunity to talk with club leaders. The intent is to introduce prospective members to the club and our boats and answer questions about becoming a member and/or captain in our club. We ask that attendees have a potential interest in joining the club and enrolling in our spring sailing classes. There will be an opportunity to join the club and sign up for sailing classes that will begin on April 6th If you have any questions, please feel free to email our Commodore, James Prisbe at [email protected]. The event location is: Mariner's Point Club House 301 Georgetown Road, Annapolis, MD 21403 and we will go down to the docks to see the boats at the dock. NEW: 2024 On the Water Classes for New Members are scheduled to begin April 15. This is a great opportunity to learn when you join the club. You will be able to take advantage of our Club Cruises all summer long. New member initiation fee is $400.00. This includes your first year membership dues plus 20 hours of on-the-water sailing instruction. There are two free online tutorials and you must purchase the textbook which is about $17. To join and schedule sailing classes please fill out our Membership Application.

NEW: Captains training and mentoring sessions are being planned for new and current members and will be underway for the summer. Many of the captain candidates are new members who complete the new member class sessions and on the water familiarizations in the Spring.

2023: May 24th WSC Day Cruise - Blue Angels Air Show. Noon to 5pm. Sail a few hours then anchor out and enjoy "the best seat in the house" for the fabulous Air show.
