Application for Wanderlusters Sailing Club Membership & Course

    ​​If not, it is your responsibility to wear personal flotation gear at all times while on boats.  We can provide one for you (standard life preserver) or bring your own.

    You acknowledge, by submitting this application and signing below, that you agree:
    • To read the most recent version of the WSC Members’ Handbook, currently available at http://wanderlusters.weebly.com/uploads/6/0/7/0/6070691/2019_members_handbook.pdf, which contains important details on membership activities, fees, scheduling, certain legal notices, and member obligations, and to abide by all conditions in that Handbook; and
    • that you agree to the attached Membership & Participation Terms & Conditions, which contain important legal notices.

    ​Cost & Fees:
    • Initiation $625.00. Includes 1st year Membership Fee and 20 hours of On-The-Water training.  
    • Additional family members can join at the same time for half price - $575.00 Total for 2 = $1200.00
    Preparation:
    Please take two free online courses at:  nauticed.org/sailing course:  
    1. Navigation Rules
    2. Basic Sail Trim before your first on-the-water class.

    Also, take the free Maryland online Boating Safety Course – www.boat-ed.com.  
    Also, purchase the textbook: Sailing Fundamentals by Gary Jobson, available on Amazon for about $17+ in paperback.
